This new site was established in <strong>Skierniewice<\/strong>, centrally located between Warsaw and \u0141\u00f3d\u017a. Back then, <strong>Jan Timmermans<\/strong> saw tremendous potential for growth in this part of Poland.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-medium is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/axell-group.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/19960831-Ponetex_Rakoniewice-signage-2-300x193.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1549\" style=\"width:299px;height:193px\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Ponetex Logistics was already a familiar name in Poland. The company had opened its first warehouse there in <strong>1996<\/strong>. A partnership between the municipalities of <strong>Rakoniewice<\/strong> and <strong>Diessen<\/strong> laid the foundation for Timmermans\u2019 expansion into the Polish market. This was soon followed by the launch of a <strong>second facility<\/strong> in <strong>2000<\/strong>, located in <strong>Nowy Tomy\u015bl<\/strong>, near Pozna\u0144.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-medium\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"1552\" src=\"https:\/\/axell-group.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/1996-August-Ponetex_Rakoniewice-warehouses-300x188.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1552\"\/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-medium\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"1550\" src=\"https:\/\/axell-group.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Nowy-Tomysl-9-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1550\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n<p>The <strong>Skierniewice<\/strong> site consisted of a brand-new warehouse measuring <strong>11,000 m\u00b2<\/strong>, along with <strong>500 m\u00b2<\/strong> of office space. The operation focused primarily on the storage, handling, and distribution of sugar and other food products for clients such as <strong>Lewiatan<\/strong>, <strong>Agros Nova<\/strong>, <strong>VOG Polska<\/strong>, <strong>Nordzucker Polska<\/strong>, and <strong>McCormick Company<\/strong>.
