Last Friday, Axell participated in the <strong>Traffic Safety Day<\/strong> in Oirschot.<\/p>\n<p>Children from group 8 of the local primary schools (De Fonkeling, De Korenbloem, and De Linde) learned about the <strong>truck\u2019s blind spot<\/strong> during this event. This was demonstrated both with a stationary vehicle and by riding along in the truck to show, through the mirrors, how cyclists can disappear from view in certain positions. For this age group, it\u2019s an important lesson\u2014many don\u2019t realize how limited the visibility from a truck can be.<\/p>\n<p>For safety reasons, our new <strong>DAF XF<\/strong> is equipped with a <strong>blind spot window<\/strong> and <strong>camera<\/strong> to reduce risks.<\/p>\n<p>We wish all children many safe kilometers on their bikes!<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/axell-group.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Veiligheidsdag.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1573\"\/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At Axell, safety is an important theme, and we\u2019re happy to contribute to it.
