Safety Day

At Axell, safety is an important theme, and we’re happy to contribute to it. Last Friday, Axell participated in the Traffic Safety Day in Oirschot.

Children from group 8 of the local primary schools (De Fonkeling, De Korenbloem, and De Linde) learned about the truck’s blind spot during this event. This was demonstrated both with a stationary vehicle and by riding along in the truck to show, through the mirrors, how cyclists can disappear from view in certain positions. For this age group, it’s an important lesson—many don’t realize how limited the visibility from a truck can be.

For safety reasons, our new DAF XF is equipped with a blind spot window and camera to reduce risks.

We wish all children many safe kilometers on their bikes!
