The fundraiser for Ukraine was a success only the transport was a challenge.
When we heard in March of the terrible events unfolding in Ukraine, Axell took immediate action. We involved all our employees, suppliers and customers from both Poland and the Netherlands in providing the necessary support and assistance.
Thanks to a fundraising campaign that we organised in Arpil and May, we managed to collect more than 40 pallets with the most necessary products, food and even clothing.
Transport to Bucha
Although the collection for our organisation went without any problems, the transport to Bucha (UK) proved to be quite problematic. It took us a long time to find a suitable and reliable carrier to deliver our pallets in Ukraine.
Thanks to the endless efforts of our colleague in Skierniwice (PL), Marzena Wach, we managed to organise the transport and the goods and donation have reached their destination, Bucha. It is thanks to her determination and efforts that we managed to organise the transport. This would not have been possible without her direct contacts with the authorities of Tuszyn city and Bucz, who have been an invaluable support throughout the operation.
We are very proud of everyone involved in the collection. Customers, suppliers, employees and transporters. A special thanks goes to Marzena, without whom all our efforts might have been in vain.
