Axell has stood for quality for 90 years with the first ISO certification starting in 1990
In the 90 years of our existence, since our founding in 1933, we have always focused on offering quality to our customers. On July 9, 1990, we reached an important milestone by becoming one of the first companies in the Netherlands to be ISO 9001 certified for – among other things – providing our warehousing and transport services. ISO 9001 is a globally recognized standard with requirements for quality management. It is a standard for transparency and reliability in the market.
Back in 1990, at that time still operating under the name J. Timmermans Diessen B.V., we proved our strong commitment to delivering quality with this ISO 9001 certification. The certification was certainly not a one-time award either. Our current ISO 9001:2015 certification, shows that to this day we focus on maintaining high standards.
In fact, quality management is embedded in every aspect of our organization’s processes. It ensures that we effectively manage risk and meet the needs, requirements, wishes and specifications of our customers and other stakeholders, including compliance with relevant laws. With ISO quality management, we ensure continuous improvement of our services, striving to better meet our customers’ needs each time.
