In recent weeks, we’ve donated a lot of IT-related items. The storage cabinets in Etten-Leur and Diessen were overflowing with cables and old laptops that we no longer had any use for.
We found a great organization that will give our IT equipment a new life. Through this initiative, we donated no less than 319 items to CopiaTek. A great example of how Axell takes Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) seriously.

About Copiatek
Copiatek is a social enterprise focused on launching social ICT projects for and with people who are distanced from the labor market.
Copiatek donates 25% of the refurbished equipment to divisions of the Leergeld Nederland foundation, as well as to various associations, community centers, youth care centers, and food banks. They do this in collaboration with the Haagse Uitdaging and similar initiatives in other cities.
Another 45% is sold via a shop-in-shop concept in thrift stores across the Netherlands and retail projects that promote healthy commerce.
Around 20% of the equipment is not suitable for use in the Netherlands. These items are sent to support school projects in Africa. The remaining 10% is deemed unusable. These are sustainably recycled according to Weeelabex guidelines—keeping raw materials in circulation.
