Van Gool Workwear and Axell Group team up to ensure a safe working environment for drivers
Two local companies—Van Gool Workwear from Hilvarenbeek and Axell Group from Diessen—joined forces a few months ago to develop Axell’s new company clothing.
Key themes in selecting the new workwear included: safety, sustainability, and wearing comfort. The final composition of the full clothing range is currently being finalized. However, regarding safety—and specifically the visibility of drivers while working—a proactive step has already been taken in the ongoing collaboration between the two partners.
Following Van Gool Workwear’s advice, all Axell drivers in the Netherlands and Poland will receive new high-visibility jackets in fluorescent yellow with reflective striping. The chosen solution is a sustainable softshell jacket with a matching rain shell (both from HAVEP), which can be worn separately or together depending on the weather. All fully compliant with European legislation and regulations. In addition to the jackets, all drivers will receive a matching safety bag containing all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Van Gool provides a total service by supplying, printing, and keeping the clothing in stock, ensuring short delivery times. This marks the beginning of a great collaboration between these two local partners.
